Regional Evidence for Learning Workshops & Clinics

Live in person workshops and support clinics around the use of EfL

These events are an opportunity for teachers and leaders to share, network and collaborate with colleagues from across the local area and beyond on all things EfL. Members of the EfL team will facilitate discussions and provide expert input on the various ways that EfL can support high quality practice and improved outcomes in your setting. Schools will share practice and ideas through lightning talks and roundtable discussions.

 

These days will be a great opportunity to share and discuss how you have configured and use EfL with other schools, as well as have opportunities to get support directly and in person from the EfL team.

Agenda

The EfL Team will give an overview of exciting new features as well as cover aspects of EfL that you may not have explored.

Lightning talk from Min Sanghera (Deputy Headteacher, Nether Hall School) and Jess Norman (Assistant Headteacher, Nether Hall School) demonstrating how they use Evidence for Learning, Insights and the EfL Family App at Nether Hall.

Roundtable discussions to share experiences / explore:

  • Purpose and Quality of Evidence
  • What Tags are you using?
  • How are you using them?
  • How are you using EfL to demonstrate the breadth and depth in your curriculum?
  • How are you using EfL to develop a progression narrative?
  • How do you use PLGs to align ST planning with LT planning and EHCPs?
  • Using EfL to support Engagement (indicators)
  • How are you using the Family App?
  • Anything else colleagues raise on the day!

Cost

LearningShared subscribers: FREE 

If your school or setting has a subscription to the LearningShared CPLD Programme then up to 2 (two) members of staff can attend any one of the Regional EfL Workshops & Clinics for FREE (no cost), subject to a maximum of 2 x ‘delegate tickets’ during the setting’s LearningShared subscription period. Additional delegates can attend any event at a substantially discounted cost of £50 (ex VAT) per delegate / attendee.

Please note: Attendance at any events during the 2022/23 academic year under an existing LearningShared subscription will count towards the allocation of 2 x free ‘delegate tickets’ for any of the EfL LearningShared events in the 23/24 academic year.

 

Non-LearningShared subscribers: £75 (ex VAT) per delegate / attendee

If your school or setting does not have a subscription to the LearningShared CPLD Programme then the cost to attend any of the events is £75 (ex VAT) per delegate / attendee;

Alternatively the school can subscribe and enrol to the LearningShared CPLD Programme using the form below (£500 ex VAT if your school has EfL) to take advantage of the free and reduced attendee costs as well as to gain access to all the features and benefits of the LearningShared CPLD Programme. Learn more about the Learning Shared CPLD Programme here.
